Beretta 390 For Trap?

Is the Beretta 390ST a good beginner gun for trap?

The 390 is an excellent Beretta action. Whether or not the 390 is good for trap depends on the configuration. I can’t find any solid information on what the “ST” stands for. It might mean “Super Trap” and then again, it could also mean “shoots everything” (in Italian). If the 390 you are looking at has a higher Monte Carlo stock and a stepped rib on a 30″ barrel it would be a very nice trap gun indeed. Add a T&S shell catcher to that so that your ejects don’t pelt the guy on your right and anyone, beginner or pro, should be quite happy with it as a trap gun.
