    An interesting question indeed, and some answers. But it fails to address the question of gauge.
    Do the small bores have longer strings? My own take, shooting 10ga to 410, is that the bigger the bore the shorter the string. More pellets on the claybird in a shorter period. This only from my own subjective take on how birds are broken on the clays course. And while mentioned in the clip, clearly the closer the target, the shorter the string. I must confess the last section of the clip is tricky to evaluate, but hats off to the first piece of film, it really does give one a sense of how the pellet cloud strikes progressively.
