Choke For Skeet

Bruce….

I have a Rem 1100 Sporting in 28 ga with the extended Brileys. What choke do you think would be best for Skeet? I am shooting Fiocchi 3/4oz #9’s.. with the IC tube most of the time. Do you believe the supplied Skeet tube would be a better choice? Patterning is very difficult for me living in NYC. The clay target ranges on Long Island really don’t have a suitable set up for patterning.,unless a piece of metal painted white is considered suitable.. I think not. Anyway .. Once again , I would appreciate your input.

Rich,

.005″ is pretty much the standard constriction for a skeet choke regardless of gauge. IC in the 28 gauge is technically .009″. That’s too tight for skeet unless those Fiocchis shoot very open, which I doubt. I’d go with the skeet tube.
