Advising someone to reduce recoil by lengthening forcing cones or barrel porting is very poor. None other than Sir Technoid, as well as others, have pointed out how those two things don’t reduce recoil enough to be measurable. They probably don’t reduce recoil at all. Surprised that an experienced instructor like Currie would believe and put out such poor advise.

Mr. Currie clearly does not endorse barrel porting. As far as his recommendation on lengthening forcing cones; everyone has their opinion on the effectiveness of this technique.
