Sacrilege that the redoubtable Mr. Buck did not give the lecture rather than some Brit.
Is the Brit aware of Mr. Buck’s knowledge of subject gun ? I don’t believe so.
Action spring has been mentioned a million times by Buck & referral to Rich Cole kits.
Mr. Eddleman is indeed correct,sir.

The only maintenance required on the 303 is changing the action spring in buttstock after about 5-8,000 rounds.
Failure to do so will cause the bolt to slam back and eventually crack rear of receiver. That’s the end for it but can be easily prevented by changing out that spring periodically.
Something to look for while buying and should have been mentioned by the reviewer.
